WHAT IS A GRIND GIRL AMBASSADOR?
We're glad you asked!
Becoming a Grind Girl Ambassador means embracing confidence, celebrating individuality, and championing the empowerment of women. Our ambassadors are dynamic young women with a passion for uplifting others, a unique sense of style, and a love for fashion. Excited about achieving their educational goals and dreams, they embody the essence of A Girl With a Grind. As a Grind Girl Ambassador, you join a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to inspiring and supporting one another. By proudly representing our brand, you showcase your distinctive style and contribute to the collective empowerment of women. If you're a confident go-getter with a heart for uplifting others, a love for fashion, and a commitment to your educational journey, we invite you to be a Grind Girl Ambassador and make a positive impact on the world!
I'm Karine, and I'm currently a high school senior. Expecting to graduate in May 2024, my dream is to attend the University of Maryland College Park for Mass Communications—GO TERPS! Holding leadership roles as the SGA Treasurer and National Honor Society Secretary, I maintain a 4.0 GPA.
Being a Girl Grind ambassador is fantastic! Working with hard-working women, expressing our grind through the clothes we wear is empowering. Life requires effort, and as women, we grind to achieve our goals. The sense of empowerment is amazing, and I'm proud to be part of a business that promotes passion and hard work. Nothing comes for free, so I always remember to stay faithful to the Lord, grateful for His blessings, time, and the drive He instilled in me.
As a young African American female, my goal is to empower women to recognize their worth and appreciate their hard work. Special thanks to Mrs. Taneka Ferrell for providing me with the opportunity to make my voice heard in the community. Thank you for opening doors and enabling me to strive for greater things. Keep Grinding!

Taylor M.
3rd Year College Student
Hello everyone, I'm Taylor! I'm currently a Junior at Elizabeth City State University! My major is Kinesiology with a focus on Fitness and Wellness, with a minor in Coaching. I also serve as a student leader as The President of the ECSU Concert Choir. Becoming the very first Grind Girl Ambassador is incredibly meaningful to me, as it allows me to be part of a company dedicated to empowering and inspiring women to express themselves. As an advocate, I feel fortunate to contribute to motivating young adults and women to persevere. A quote from Maya Angelou resonates with me: "If you’re going to live, leave a legacy. Make a mark on the world that can’t be erased." With the spirit of A Girl With A Grind, I aspire to leave a positive mark on the world. Special thanks to CEO Mrs. Taneka Ferrell for this opportunity and privilege, and to my sponsor, Mrs. Kim Jordan-Tolbert, for the invaluable guidance and inspiration. I can't wait to make everyone proud! -Grind Girl

Being chosen to represent Girl With a Grind is an honor, allowing me to be part of a community of hardworking women as role models during my transition into adulthood. As a young African American woman, my goal is to learn how to motivate those with similar experiences and maintain optimism until there's change. With the support around me, I aim to use my voice to stand for what I believe in and contribute to communities.

I express gratitude to Taneka Ferrell for believing in my potential and providing me with this opportunity to be an ambassador for A Girl With a Grind. This experience will undoubtedly shape me into a strong, confident, and beautiful African American woman. Much love!
